IT’S A GREAT DAY – HJ NEW DAY NEW WAY

HJ New Day New Way was founded by Judith Wilson, CEO in 2019.  Located in the City of Inglewood (LA County), the organization began servicing the Senior Population – “HOMEBOUND AND OVERLOOKED”.   Nov. 2021, it became necessary to include Single-mother households and families living below poverty level with limited access to available free services, food banks and more.

As of January 2023, HJ New Day New Way has experienced significant growth in its mobile  grocery delivery program.  In response to the evident need for support, HJ now accepts referrals & delivers to the disabled communities, seniors with disabilities and low income individuals & families facing food insecurity due to mobility limitations and ongoing illnesses.

This expansion is a testament to our commitment to reaching those most in need as we provide vital assistance in overcoming mobility challenges  to another vulnerable population.

Our Founder takes the care for the Senior Population and food insecurity as a personal mission.  After caring for her own grandmother and later her mother, she understands the importance of Kind Words, A Gentle Touch, Compassionate Care & Healthy sustainable food options consistently.

Since 2020 documentation shows 5.2 million Seniors aged 60+ faced hunger. 6.8% of all senior’s experience food insecurity & 32.1% of households are living below the Federal Poverty Level.   However, in order to address the problems of food insecurity & poverty, that requires a total understanding of the problem. Additionally, our Founder understands the direct and complex relationship between food insecurity and social economic factors. The results – hopelessness, depression, malnutrition, isolation and more.

Miss Judith and her team are dedicated in promoting Healthy Independent Living, Weekly Food & Supply deliveries, Medical & Social Services Referrals & Safe Living Environment/Transition assistance with uplifting Social Interaction.  HJ New Day New Way continues to identify the needy, address the issues and provide positive solutions and outcomes that is overwhelming our most vulnerable populations and local communities.
