We deliver throughout the week and emergency delivery is available to those homebound with limited accessibility. This includes “Kosher foods, staples, fresh vegetables, fruit and water. However daily calls and inquiring of groceries have increased tremendously. All emergency calls are handled with a sense of urgency.
As a result of economics, covid lingering crisis, and limited access for adequate food and healthily choices are limited. HJ continues to bridge the gap of food insecurity and supplies at no cost.
As a result of the COVID 19 Crisis, HJ now provides Sanitizing kits with all grocery deliveries – to include disposable masks (1 – 2 boxes per month ), hand sanitizer and gloves.
Our goal is to provide over 1/2 IF NOT ALL of the recommended daily nutritional allowances to allow Seniors, women and the low income families to remain in their homes without jeopardizing their health, and eliminating their “Overwhelming Food Insecurity” which continues to rise.
