.HJ New Day New Way, in collaboration with Morningside United Church is making significant strides in addressing food insecurity within our community. We are proud to be actively feeding the hungry, serving homebound seniors & individuals, low income families and those with disabilities.
As of August 31, 2024, documentation reveals we served 598 households and 1,777 individuals with fresh healthy food options, supplies and personal hygiene products.
Our commitment to providing essential support for those in need remains unwavering. As we continue to grow and thrive, we are immensely grateful for the ongoing support from City of Inglewood, County of Los Angeles, Morningside United Church, private donors and grant makers. Our dedicated senior volunteers and families have been instrumental in the success of our programs.
Looking ahead, we are excited to expand our delivery outreach, opening our Community Food Pantry at the Morningside United Church and serve even more communities, particularly within our HOMEBOUND population.
New Day New Way continues to act as a vital link for those who struggle to access nutritious food and other necessities and provide a beacon of hope for those we serve. Together, we are not just addressing food insecurity & immediate needs, but also paving the way for a brighter, healthier future for all.
